Lineage & Affiliations
KIAI International – Sri Lanka operates under the KIAI Universal Karate Budo Union and is overseen by the KIAI Universal Committee Co-Directors (Japan • India • Sri Lanka). Technical Directors and the Technical Director – President maintain quality control and grading standards across regions.

Grading & Pathways
- Kyu → Dan requirements: Kihon, Kata, Kumite, theory, and etiquette.
- Instructor Track: Assistant → Instructor → Senior Instructor (workshops + supervised hours).
- Events Path: School meets, district, national, and international championships.
Safety & Ethics
- Child safeguarding policy, emergency procedures, first-aid readiness.
- Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
- Equipment checks, partner control, and dojo etiquette at all times.
